Uses<\/h2>\n

Rabeprazole<\/a>\u00a0is used to treat certain\u00a0stomach<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0esophagus<\/a>\u00a0problems (such as\u00a0acid reflux<\/a>, ulcers). It works by decreasing the amount of acid your\u00a0stomach<\/a>\u00a0makes. It relieves symptoms such as\u00a0heartburn<\/a>, difficulty swallowing, and persistent\u00a0cough<\/a>. This\u00a0medication<\/a>\u00a0helps heal acid damage to the stomach and esophagus, helps prevent ulcers, and may help prevent\u00a0cancer<\/a>\u00a0of the esophagus. Rabeprazole belongs to a class of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs).<\/p>\n
